The following items can be sterilized by Laboratory Autoclave:


 1. Serializable items used in the laboratory.

2. Samples/sample culture media left over after tests in the laboratory before and after use.

Important Precautions for Autoclave Use:

1- Add water to the water according to the manufacturer's instructions.

2. Place the items in the autoclave in such a way that steam can easily pass between the items. Do not let the objects touch each other or touch the wall of the autoclave.

3 Close the lid according to the manufacturer's instructions.

4- Set Autoclave time and pressure according to manufacturer's instructions.

5 After achieving the specified time and pressure, turn off the autoclave and allow to cool.

Special Precautions: 

Never open the autoclave while it is hot or there is a serious risk of burns. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for opening the autoclave.

Note/Temperature Steam and Time Strip:

A special chemical is applied to this strip Which changes its color within the desired steam temperature and time A change in color means that the indicated temperature and time have been completed.

6- After use, clean the toilet thoroughly inside and outside.

7. Keep a special eye on the body burns valve and pressure gauge of the autoclave to prevent rust and other damages.

8. Continue to check the function of the safety valve according to the manufacturer's instructions.

9. In case of any malfunction in the Autoclave, do not use it at all and contact the concerned engineer immediately.
